Our old Netgear router suddenly failed and so I explored Amazon's Netgear offerings to replace it. This unit was delivered the same day I ordered it and took less than 15 minutes to setup with the app on my phone. Technology has certainly advanced since our last router purchase. This Nighthawk system is so powerful that it reaches the far ends of the house where formerly we needed a booster to have adequate signal. The booster is retired! And the speed increase for wireless connections is instantly apparent. We couldn't be happier with the Nighthawk performance.

It took a while to set up, and tech support was sketchy. I talked to a foreign person for about an hour and 20 minutes. He recommended that I return the unit. I worked on it for 20 minutes and had it up and running over 6 units. It is working great. I want to cancel my return order because I did it myself and was fairly easy to do.

Total game changer! Upgraded from a Linksys AC3200 to the Netgear AX 6600 because, I was tired of slow connection speeds and constantly loosing a signal, even after I upgrading from 500 MBPS to 1 GBPS. Holy smokes! I no longer drop from Teams and Google meetings! There is nothing worse than dropping offline while in a client meeting. Buffering and watching the spinny wheel days are over! I wish I had upgraded to this router sooner! Exceptional speed and coverage throughout my 2800 sq ft home. No need for wifi extenders, even in the backyard! Super easy setup, which was my biggest concern, since I had over 20 devices connected to my previous router. Reliability and speed is what I was looking for, and although it's a little pricey, this router efficiently manages numerous devices connected simultaneously without sacrificing speed or stability. Totally worth every penny!

I'm quite pleased with this thing. I've never paid much attention to wifi speed, distance and direction. The specifics of the installation location for this device required me to direct the signal down a fairly long all and corner. This device is handling that with ease. I haven't had to reboot it yet, which most wifi routers seem to require daily these days. I was considering the next level tri-band unit, but when this RAX54S gave me solid 1Gb wirelessly, I was both pleased and contented with my purchase. I do have it managing the PPPoE connection my fiber provider required. I replaced their POS router with this one and haven't had a single problem. Thank you, NetGear.
