5.0 out of 5 stars Upgrade to new router.

I had a 4-5 year old mesh router. I was getting a lot of buffering. My ISP recommended I replace my router. I searched and decided on this one. Set up was easy. The startup instructions are sparse but having said that, in less 10 minutes I was up and running. My mesh system had 2 remote routers.
I have only had this new router 3 days but signal strength is great all over my house and even outside with no remotes. Speed improvement is really noticeable. I have 200 Mbps fiber. I got at best, 150 Mbps. I m now consistently getting 180 Mbps or higher. All in all I am very happy with my purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Initial review and set up of Dual Band router

Wi-Fi 6 new technology, dual band capabilities of 5g and 2.4 to allow older wireless devices to connect. Has 8 high gain antennas, commercial grade processor, easy one button mesh capability if you want to expand to other outside buildings, and covers my entire house. from one location. Just download the app and follow easy set up instructions. Even has separate guest network built in and IoT networks to not interfere with core home devices.
Replaced my underperforming Spectrum with one that has twice the speed, parental controls, and ease of set up (10 mins). Based on lots of research before purchasing, this one met all expectations.

So I'm going to start out with saying that this product is great for my needs. Doesn't have VPN client ability, but that's not really a huge deal for me is I can just install VPN on my devices. So minus that, It gives really good coverage and strong signal. I also included in the picture what I was using before which was the eero 6. I have Sonic fiber gigabit internet. I was using 2 eero 6 routers before in my studio apt and couldn't get internet in the kitchen even though I had one of them in the kitchen. This one router covers my whole house no problem and even where I wasn't getting any signal in the kitchen before, I'm getting strong 5 GHz single now. Also latency and response time has improved substantially. You can also skip the app if you like that requires registration and just set up your router via web browser like I did it was super simple and fast.

5.0 out of 5 stars Updated Review, issue was mine! Good speed and range!

Bought the Reyee WiFi 6 Router AX3200 Wireless Router to replace an older mesh network that was not really giving me the connection or speed I needed for a combination of several streaming devices and gaming computers. Installation was pretty straightforward and I quickly had this configured with seperate private, guest, and smart device WIFI SSIDs. At first, all was great, speeds were very good - including up to 600bps on an ax device on the opposite side of our 2800sf home. Unfortunately, once i added all of the smart devices in our home (about 40) to the Reyee, things were not so good. speeds looked good but there were periodic large gaps in the connectivity. Running a constant ping to another device on the network would show super low 2ms latency in general, but then would periodically slow down to 1-4 seconds, often culminating in full timeouts. Trying to use audio and video conferencing through the Reyee in this configuration was nearly impossible which becomes a problem when trying to use for work. I eventually had to put all of my IOT devices on a different wireless router simply to let this router work for about 6 devices.

Update: I continued to get dropouts even after removing everything from this router but my work computer. Returned to amazon. If you dont conference call this may work for you, but i cannot recommend

Update 2: After trying another brand router and continuing to have the same dropout issues, I was able to narrow the issue down to one computer on our network, and that was an M1 Macbook pro - which turns out to have a known issue with periodic network dropouts in the version of the Mac OS that was on my computer. After updating that computer, the network dropouts ceased! However, the new, non Reyee router was not meeting the speeds and range I had on the Reyee. After working with the phenomenal Reyee support staff, I am now happily back to using a Reyee RG-5E as my home's sole router, getting great speeds at all corners of my home.

Will happily recommend this router to anyone!

5.0 out of 5 stars Reyee performance and privacy concerns

Reyes routers themselves are great, they’re cost effective and provide good coverage with good speed, and a good amount of customization.

The only issue is privacy concerns. Reyes is a Chinese company. The Chinese government has access to all the data they store. An easy way to avoid this is to add a firewall before your network modem and block all addresses coming/from China itself. Or those under a Chinese register.

I liked this so much, I bought a second one to use as a repeater, and will likely get a 3rd! Finally, a router where all I have to do is enter its default IP address, and all the settings are there to be made. Although they provide an "app", I grow tired of a million apps on my phone just to do simple things. This was "old school", just dial up its IP address. I bought a matching REX extender with my first one, and it set up as easily as pressing a button, and waiting 30 seconds. But best of all, its 5Ghz transmission distance is some of the best I've ever seen. IT actually penetrated a floor, 3 walls, and a brick chimney, although it was weak at that point, it was usable. This is where I'm using the second, as a repeater.

Best
wifi router I've ever owned. My cable company gave me a modem-router combo and kept turning off both Wi-Fi 2.4 and 5.0, usually in the middle of the night, I like to have the TV on while I sleep. So I disabled energy saver but it kept happening. I saw this inexpensive wifi 6 router and it's doubled my Wi-Fi speed. The cable companies Wi-Fi was 135Mbps and with this router I'm getting about 330, wired it's about 525, paying for 600Mbps... Set up was quick and easy, I just disabled the Wi-Fi on the modem, downloaded the router app, scanned the QR code on the back of the router and was connected, set up with the same SSIDs and password so all my devices connected automatically. It has a gaming SSID, I connected to it and the speed was the same as the 5Ghz channel, not a gamer so whatever boost it has is wasted on me, something about lower latency, IDK? I know ii has five antennas, it's very lightweight and runs cooler than any router I've ever owned. So far so good.

I have about 5 gaming systems that run off of my internet with about 5 other miscellaneous devices. I have spectrum internet, which is about the worst I’ve ever had. After having multiple techs come out and having the equipment replaced multiple times I decided to try getting my own router. It is an incomparable difference. I have no packet loss and very low latency. It is a night and day difference. I wish I had bought this six months ago. I highly recommend this router.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exceeded Performance Expectations

I ordered the Reyee WiFi Router with reservations about the actual performance would be from an unknown manufacturer.

After a fairly simplistic set-up procedure the router operated very well and after I was able to integrate it completely within my WiFi network within my residence, the Reyee WiFi Router provides total coverage with no dead zones. This is something I have not been able to achieve with either of my other two NetGear WiFi Routers.

For the price, you could not ask for more. I would very definitely recommend this product.
