Reviews of NETGEAR Nighthawk X4S AC2600 4x4 Dual Band Smart WiFi Router, Compatible with Amazon Echo/Alexa (R7800)

This thing does exactly what it says it does. I had an old N300 router, and the 5ghz range was awful in our house. This thing gives me more than the speed I pay my ISP for from every corner of the house (2k sq feet).

FIRMWARE: 1.2.0.58 and 60 had major issues with the 5ghz channel. My router came with .50 installed,
and I bumped up to .52 without issue. Netgear as of 1/17/19 has released 1.2.0.62, and they claim to have

fixed the faulty broadcast issues of the 5ghz channel that nearly every negative review on amazon is all about. I haven't tried it yet, but when it's safe to mess with it, I will. I will update this review when I do. Until you see confirmation that it is safe, stick with .52
